Prof. Kevin Bradley

Kevin Bradley is a Professor and State Extension Weed Scientist in the Division of Plant Science and Technology at the University of Missouri.  Kevin’s faculty appointment includes extension and research responsibilities in applied weed management in corn, soybean, and forages.  Since he arrived at the University of Missouri in 2003, the vast majority of Kevin’s research and extension efforts have been devoted to the development of integrated programs for the prevention or management of herbicide-resistant waterhemp. In recent years, many of these programs have involved evaluations of alternative, non-chemical, and future-focused weed management systems such as electrocution, seed terminators, drones for targeted spraying, and autonomous weed removal with robotics. In 2024, Kevin also accepted the role of Education Director within MU Extension, in which he does the best he can to guide, encourage, and assist all of the outstanding state and field specialists we have throughout Missouri.
