Dr. Xukai Zhang

Dr. Xukai Zhang is an Assistant Professor of Geospatial Technology in the College of Agriculture, Environmental and Human Sciences at Lincoln University of Missouri. His research bridges advanced geospatial technologies, including UAV-based LiDAR, multispectral and hyperspectral sensing, and satellite remote sensing, with artificial intelligence and data analytics to advance digital agriculture, forest health monitoring, and environmental sustainability. Through field-based research and collaborations with farmers, researchers, and agencies, Dr. Zhang applies geospatial and AI-driven tools to investigate crop and ecosystem resilience and to support sustainable land and agricultural management practices. He is also dedicated to mentoring students and training the next generation of professionals in geospatial and agricultural technologies.
